Customer Ratings:

Features of the Leland by Delta Faucet

The Leland is a single handle faucet that features a pull-down sprayer. The spray uses the popular MagnaTite docking system and wand, which snaps the wand into place. Magnets hold it securely to ensure that it stays up when you are not using it for other things. This also ensures that you do not have to worry that it will begin to droop over years of use.

This faucet is available in four colors. You may choose from Artic Stainless, chrome, stainless, and Venetian bronze. All of them are backed by the Delta Faucet’s lifetime limited warranty on both the faucet and the finish.

You can install this faucet using one or three-hole installation. There is an optional escutcheon for the Leland, but it is a separate purchase. The plate for a three hole installation is included.

If you have hard water, you will enjoy the Touch-Clean spray holes on the faucet. All you have to do is run your finger across it and any buildup will flush out.

It has a high arc spout that swivels 360-degrees. This ensures that you have complete sink access, even when you do not have the hose out.

These faucets are rated to last up to five million uses. This is because of the Diamond Seal Technology that plays part in the entire creation of them.

The pull-down spray wand features a very impressive 59-inch hose. This extended hose gives you a reach of 20 inches with the sprayer head. It also offers multi-flow settings so that you can toggle between water-efficient spray and stream modes or choose a higher flow for times when you want to fill a pot quickly.

With your purchase, you get the InnoFlex PEX supply lines. These lines keep water inside the faucet from coming into contact with metal contaminants that some hoses may expose it to.A water safety feature of this faucet is the color indicator on the base of the faucet. The color changes based on the temperature of your water, which is a great way to protect small hands from getting burnt.

This brass faucet weighs in at 7.3-pounds. The dimensions of it are 9.2 x 12 x 9.2 inches.

  Buyer’s Feedback on the Leland

Where kitchen faucets are concerned, some people are very specific about their wants and needs. The Leland seems to achieve everything for most of the people who have purchased it. They say that it doesn’t splash in the sink because even on spray mode it does not come out in an upside-down cone and this is something they enjoy with a high spout. They say that the operation of it is very smooth when they are pulling the sprayer down from the spout and when they release it. Everyone loves how easy it is to install as well. Most say that their total time installing it was less than an hour total, even when they have to take out an old faucet first. They even say that adjusting the water temperature is easy, even though there is very little movement within the handle.

As with all things, even the most popular faucet available is not ideal for everyone. Some people have had issues with certain aspects of the Leland. There are several people who have had an issue with the plastic retainer on the extension hose. It can break and this will send water flying. The good news is; it can be remedied with a zip tie to give it a little more support. Another minor issue that some people mention is that the handle bumps against their backsplash, but this is not a fault with the faucet directly. There are some people, who after using it for a while, have to hit the button twice to change the water spray settings. There are also situations where internal parts have gone wrong, but for the most part; those issues are covered by the warranty since it is part of the manufacturing that causes those issues.

Our Opinion about the Delta Faucet’s Leland

As we look at the features and the reviews of the Leland, we are impressed. With nearly 1,500 reviews and it still holding onto a 4.6-star rating, we understand that not many faucets can achieve the same amount of positive reviews. It may have some faults, but those faults pale in comparison to the number of good things that this faucet has to offer. The limited lifetime warranty is impressive because it shows that Delta Faucet believes in their product. The people who have had issues with their faucet have been satisfied with the results after contacting customer care. We like the safety feature that it has, which shows you whether you have hot or cold water running. The overall style of it is impressive because we like the clean lines and contemporary look of it. This is one of the few faucets that allow you to choose between a high or a low GPM rating and it is a feature that we like. We enjoy knowing that when in a hurry, we can speed up the water, but when we are just fixing dinner; we can use the low-flow setting. As a personal choice, we also like how far the hose extends out of the spout. It makes it easier to have a large bucket or pot on the counter where you can fill it using the sprayer. All in all, we can completely understand why it is a popular choice and admit that it is definitely one that we would consider for our own home.
