Kohler K-560-VS Bellera Pull-Down Faucet Review
Kohler is a very popular manufacturer of all types of home fixtures including sink faucets, toilets, and shower heads. They are loved for their quality and their style. For that reason; many people are taking notice of the Bellera kitchen faucet. It has many desirable features and a style that is purely contemporary. To learn more about it, you have only to read our full Kohler Bellera kitchen faucet review below.
Features of the Bellera by Kohler
The Kohler Bellera is a pull-down style kitchen faucet that is available in three colors. They include the vibrant stainless steel, a beautiful polished chrome, or a rustic oil-rubbed bronze. The pull-down spray head offers three functions including stream, sweep, and pause. When not in use, the DockNetik, which is a magnetic docking system within the spout, ensures that the sprayer glides smoothly into place and then locks it within the spout.
When in use, ProMotion technology’s quiet nylon hose slides out of the spout with ease. This is due to the ball joint that is inside the spray head. The extends up to approximately 34-inches depending on the weight placement and the available room under your kitchen sink. The hose is also designed to ensure that you are going to be comfortable when using it and not fighting to keep the hose extended from the high-arch gooseneck spout. The spout also provides you with 360-degrees of rotation on it. This makes it ideal for filling large pots and cleaning.
The Bellera can attach to any sink with up to a four-hole installation. The escutcheon is included to ensure that there are no exposed areas for water to seep through and the hot/cold water supply lines are braided woven steel.
This sink faucet measures 28.8 x 12.2 x 3 inches and weighs in at 7.1 pounds. This is because of its all-metal build and proves that it is a high-quality option.
It has a flow rate of only 1.8 GPM so that you can use it knowing you are not needlessly wasting water. Best of all, it comes with a limited lifetime warranty from Kohler to give you peace of mind when considering this faucet for your home. In the event that you simply need to clean it, all you have to do is unscrew the gray filter and clean it. Usually, this will solve most issues so that you never have to use the warranty coverage.
Buyer’s Feedback Regarding the Bellera
When talking about this faucet, most all owners say that they feel it was definitely worth buying. They enjoy how easy it was for them to install, they like the spray and stream features that it offers, and the way that it looks in their kitchen. Many say that installing it is just a matter of dropping it in and tightening it up, if you have a single hole sink, because it comes with everything you need to get the job done. They say that it works flawlessly in every way from the way that the hose extends and retracts to the way that the water flows out of this low-flow faucet. There are many people who have already used the Bellara for more than a year and they still say that it works like it did when it was new.
There are some people who have had issues with the handle not working well with the close proximity of their backsplash when it is installed on the side of the spout. This can be remedied during installation by putting the knob in front, but when you do this, you may also want to change your hot/cold water lines around a little as well. Some people have said that it requires 3/8” connections and their home’s water lines were not set up for it and there are some who state that their faucet did not come with the weight necessary to make the hose retract. If your pipes are wrong, you will need a reducer and if the weight isn’t included; you can get one of those as well. In short, there are no major issues with this faucet according to most all of its 760 owners and proves why it still holds a 4.4-star rating from them.
Our Opinion of the Kohler Bellera
The Kohler Bellera is an impressive kitchen faucet in our opinion. The reviews that others have left behind for it speak very well in its favor, but our thoughts go much deeper. We like that it has the solid feel knob and easy flow motion. We like the fact that the hose can extend to meet your needs and that the weight on it enables it to slide easily back into place. The fact that it uses very little water per minute is also something that we feel is great since most people use their kitchen sink for a variety of tasks throughout the day. This saves you from using up a lot of water. However, we do know that slower water can mean it takes you longer to fill up a large pot or a full sink of water, but most of the owners do not seem to mind since it helps out when you are simply washing your hands or rinsing a dirty glass. With all issues that people mention about this faucet, most everything can be dealt with. It is not a faucet that is liable to leak or break within a short amount of time and in the rare event that it does, a warranty is there to help you protect your investment. All in all, we see no reason why you would not consider the Kohler Bellera as a potential faucet.
