To see what else it has to offer, you should read the full Purelux Tulip kitchen sink faucet review. It could be the solution to upgrading your own kitchen sink area.
Features of the Purelux Tulip
The Tulip is a single handle kitchen faucet that has a very streamlined and contemporary design. You can choose from brushed nickel or chrome in color.
It has an arch pull down sprayer with three setting modes. You can choose from pause, spray jet, or stream. The spray setting that you are using when you turn off your faucet will stay until you reset it to another function. The stream setting is designed to give you a very powerful rinse when you need to do heavy duty cleaning and pause is activated by pushing a button. You do have to hold down the pause button if you want to use it. It is self-retracting so that you do not have to worry about putting it back together when you are finished using it.
This faucet comes with a deck plate. The plate works well for one or three hole installations. The handle can be mounted on either side to accommodate your hand preferences.
The high arch spout offers 360-degrees of rotation. It is equipped with a ceramic cartridge filter. The faucet itself has been verified to last through 500,000 cycles, which gives you a faucet that should exceed 10 years of service life. It complies with all cUPC & NSF standards, which means that it is certified to be lead-free.
The Tulip is also a great way to conserve water. It has a flow rate of no more than 1.8 GPM through its 3/8” compression fittings. This means that no matter how far you turn the water on; you will not be able to use more water than you wanted to.
The hose measures in at 16” long and with your purchase, you will receive everything you need for installation including; the faucet with 18” supply lines, fittings, a flange for your one hole installation, and a deck plate. The installation tool is also included.
This faucet measures in at 8.4 x 2 x 15.7 inches to ensure that you do not have to bend over at the sink anymore. It also helps you be able to fill large pots and stuff.
Purelux offers a 5-year warranty to ensure that you do not have any issues with your new faucet. In the event that something goes wrong, you can contact them for a possible replacement.
Buyer’s Feedback for the Tulip
One of the most impressive things about this faucet is the fact that it is inexpensive in comparison to other faucets of its type. It is something that most all reviewers cannot stop talking about because it offers all the features of other brand name kitchen sink faucets. Beyond that, they say that it works very well and meets their needs completely. Some people even comment that the height of the faucet is perfect simply because it is high enough to ensure they can fill their larger pots without issues, but not so high that you have to worry about water splashing when you turn it on. Most all owners say that the sprayer is easy to work with whether you are pulling it in or out and they say that it feels like a high-quality faucet in every way. Most people also state that the installation of this faucet is easier than most. However, some do say that the directions for installing it can be confusing. The faucet comes with a foam gasket, which makes plumber’s putty unnecessary, but the directions still say you should use it. The only people that have had a true issue with it, ended up having to deal with leaks. This could be very bad, except for the fact that the faucet is covered by the Purelux 5-year warranty that protects you from anything that could be a manufacturing defect.
Our Opinion of the Tulip by Purelux
We like anything that is easy to install when it comes to our kitchen faucets and this faucet is perhaps one of the easiest to work with, even when you are dealing with under the sink. We are also very happy to see extended warranties that protect you from having to buy a new faucet every year or two. The Tulip seems to meet both qualities that we like. We are a little concerned that there are several people who experience leaks, but considering the many positive reviews that are listed and how it compares to the negative thoughts; we have to think that it is worthy of consideration for most people. After all, it holds steady with a 4.5-star rating and there are very few reviews that are less than 4-star. We like that there are no major red flags in regards to this faucet. In our own experience, this is very rare and for that alone we encourage you to take a second look at it. Beyond that, and beyond what others say about it, the fact that it promises to last for more than 10 years and has a warranty that runs for five; we feel it is too good of a deal to really consider passing up for most people; ourselves included.
